Critical Issues
The Trump regime has made it clear that they intend to use every tool at their disposal to try to influence the outcomes of the 2026 US midterm elections. From its earliest days, the Trump regime has attempted to rewrite election rules through executive order, manipulate voter rolls by amassing private voter data, seize 2020 voting materials in order to relitigate repeatedly debunked claims of election fraud, and call for the federal government to “nationalize” election administration in defiance of the US Constitution.
Forever chemicals (PFAS) are a group of synthetic chemicals that are highly resistant to degradation. They persist and accumulate in the global environment for thousands of years causing widespread heath harm to humans and other life.
Since 1917, the people of Gaza have been resisting forced dispossession, ethnic cleansing, starvation, arbitrary detention without trial, torture and genocide – all conducted with the active support of individuals acting as representatives of the People of the United States.
Homelessness in the U.S. has reached record highs in recent years, with on average over 770,000 people experiencing homelessness each night. This is driven largely by rising housing costs, a crumbling social infrastructure, and extreme economic disparities.
The number one critical issue impacting all life on earth is human induced climate change. It is already too late to avoid severe consequences, but it may not be too late to save complex living species and perhaps even someof the more valuable aspects of modern human societies.
The Trump regime has deployed a masked and militarized force into US communities, often without request or permission from local governments. These actions have too often resulted in illegal detention and deportation, destruction of personal property, physical injury and even murder. Those who nonviolently expose the illegal tactics are often targeted as well.
Technology itself is neutral, however the foolish and overly self-centered use of technology has serous consequences. The more powerful the technology, the more dire the potential harm, and the greater the need to live by The Precautionary Principle.
The illegal unprovoked attack by the US and Israel against Iran is deeply unpopular in the United States and globally. This is the latest in a long series of imperialist meddling.
